Leslie Hart has been practicing law for 25 years. She is an experienced litigator, but where family law is concerned  she is fully embraces and recommends to prospective clients the alternatives of the collaborative process or mediation. She firmly believes that families do not belong in court. Collaborative divorce, in particular, offers the parties a unique opportunity to actively participate in the process of planning their futures and those of their children in an environment that is far more respectful and, in her opinion, more effective than litigation. She is a member of A Better Divorce a Collaborative Practice Group based in the South Bay area of California.  She spoke with Easy Reader about choosing Collaborative Law.
